Les traditions espagnoles sont l'un des aspects qui différencient le plus ce pays du reste du monde. La situation particulière de son territoire signifie que les Espagnols ont à la fois des influences européennes, africaines et méditerranéennes. Par conséquent, leurs coutumes sont très différentes de celles de toute autre partie de l'Occident.
Face au reste du monde, l'Espagne est un pays où prédominent fêtes, bonne cuisine et style de vie décontracté. Des mots comme sieste, paella ou taureaux sont connus des gens de tous les coins de la planète; et le flux constant de touristes que reçoivent nos frontières indique que nos traditions sont vraiment attrayantes.

Dans cet article, nous verrons une liste des principales traditions espagnoles. Dans celui-ci, sont inclus certains bien connus et pratiqués sur tout le territoire national; mais nous en avons également ajouté d'autres qui sont spécifiques à des régions spécifiques du pays.
1- Optez pour les tapas
L'une des traditions espagnoles qui attire le plus l'attention des touristes est celle d'aller manger des tapas. Cette façon de manger se produit pratiquement exclusivement à l'intérieur des frontières espagnoles; Mais sa renommée s'est répandue dans le monde entier et de plus en plus de visiteurs veulent en faire l'expérience.
Les tapas ne sont pas un type de nourriture spécifique, mais une façon de manger. Sortir pour les tapas consiste à commander de petites portions de plats typiques, tels que des patatas bravas, des brochettes de tortilla, de la salade russe ou du chorizo au cidre. La tauromachie est une pratique sportive dans laquelle, en trois actes (appelés tiers), un torero, avec l'aide d'autres participants comme le picador ou les banderilleros, tue un taureau d'une certaine manière. Il existe certaines variantes, comme le rejoneo ou les coupes, qui ajoutent plus de variété à la corrida.
Cette pratique sportive est répandue dans presque toute l'Espagne, avec des arènes dans presque toutes les villes espagnoles. Les exceptions les plus notables sont la Catalogne, où la tauromachie a été interdite en 2010, et les îles Canaries, où il est illégal de se livrer à tout type d'acte de corrida.
Malgré une grande tradition historique, la corrida a de moins en moins d'adeptes et de soutien social. Cependant, même aujourd'hui, des milliers de personnes continuent d'affluer sur les places pour voir des corridas, une coutume qui, espérons-le, ne disparaîtra pas bientôt.
3- San Fermín
Il est impossible d'évoquer la pratique de la tauromachie sans parler de ce qui est probablement le festival espagnol le plus connu: San Fermín. Dans ce festival, célébré dans la ville de Pampelune entre le 6 et le 14 juillet, toutes sortes de pratiques culturelles et traditionnelles sont mises en œuvre.
Peut-être la partie la plus connue de San Fermín est la pratique de la course des taureaux. En eux, plusieurs taureaux parcourent un circuit fermé dans les rues de la ville, tandis que quiconque le souhaite peut courir devant eux en essayant d'éviter d'être touché. Cependant, il y a beaucoup plus à apprécier dans cette tradition.
Le festival de San Fermín est organisé en l'honneur du saint dont il tire son nom. Pendant neuf jours, les rues de Pampelune sont remplies de monde, de boissons, de musique et de divertissements. 4- Camino de Santiago
Parmi les traditions les plus importantes d'Espagne, tout n'est pas question de fêtes, de boissons ou de nourriture. L'une des coutumes les plus importantes est le pèlerinage à la cathédrale de Saint-Jacques-de-Compostelle, en Galice. Traditionnellement de nature religieuse, de plus en plus de personnes font ce circuit pour des raisons sportives, spirituelles ou touristiques.
Il existe de nombreux itinéraires différents pour faire le Camino de Santiago; mais le plus traditionnel est celui qui va de Roncevaux, dans les Pyrénées françaises, à Santiago, en traversant tout le nord de l'Espagne. Certaines des villes visitées lors de ce voyage sont Burgos, León, Pampelune ou Logroño.
Pendant la visite, les pèlerins, accrédités par une accréditation spéciale, dorment généralement dans des abris et portent tous leurs effets personnels sur le dos. Le chemin est marqué par des flèches jaunes, entretenues par les mairies de la ville, qui indiquent le chemin le plus court vers Saint-Jacques-de-Compostelle.
En plus de la Voie française, nous trouvons les Portugais (à la fois de l'intérieur et de la côte), le Nord (l'un des plus difficiles physiquement), ou la Vía de la Plata, qui commence dans le sud de l'Espagne et s'étend sur toute la péninsule. en Galice. 5- Sieste

8- Fallas valenciennes

9- Pâques

Du dimanche des Rameaux au dimanche de Pâques (dont les dates exactes varient en fonction du calendrier lunaire), dans un grand nombre de villes espagnoles, toutes sortes de processions, défilés et événements similaires sont organisés pour commémorer la passion du Christ.
Ce festival est particulièrement important en Andalousie, bien que sur pratiquement tout le territoire national, vous puissiez assister à des événements qui y sont liés.
10- La Tomatina
L'un des festivals espagnols les plus acclamés au niveau international est la Tomatina, qui est célébrée à Buñol chaque août. 11- Flamenco
Avec la tauromachie, la paella et la sieste, l'une des traditions espagnoles les plus connues est le flamenco. C'est un style de musique et de danse originaire d'Andalousie au 18ème siècle, considéré comme patrimoine culturel immatériel de l'humanité par l'UNESCO.
Le flamenco comprend des éléments tels que des costumes traditionnels, un style musical totalement différent et des techniques de danse telles que des talons qui attirent l'attention de gens du monde entier. 12- Nouvel An
Pratiquement tous les pays du monde célèbrent d'une manière ou d'une autre la fin d'une année et le début d'une autre. Cependant, la tradition espagnole qui a lieu le 31 décembre est exclusive à l'Espagne et est également l'un des festivals les plus importants pour ses habitants.
Pendant les douze dernières secondes du 31 décembre, la tradition veut qu'il faille manger douze raisins au rythme des «cloches», qui sont généralement diffusées par des horloges comme celle de la Puerta del Sol à Madrid. 14- Mages
