Le reportage est un genre journalistique qui traite de la narration d'événements ou d'actualités sur divers sujets. Initialement, il consistait en un rapport écrit basé sur une observation directe ou une recherche approfondie. Cette information est venue, dans la plupart des cas, d'un témoin qui a raconté une histoire qui a été publiée plus tard.
Quant à l'origine du mot reportage, il vient du mot italien reportagio. Les premières manifestations de cette activité se situent vers le XVIIe siècle. À cette époque, les précurseurs du journalisme, appelés rédacteurs de nouvelles, visitaient les villes pour recueillir des informations pour les publier plus tard dans les bulletins d'information.
Selon des sources historiques, le premier rapport au format reconnu aujourd'hui était celui de l'éditeur Horace Greeley (1811-1872). Cet article a été publié en 1852 dans le New York Tribune. Creeley a interviewé un leader du mouvement mormon, et le style utilisé pendant l'entrevue a jeté les bases du journalisme moderne.
Au fil des années et du développement des moyens technologiques, les images ont commencé à accompagner les textes du rapport, renforçant son contenu. Les médias ont également évolué. Les nouvelles ont commencé à être transmises par télégraphe jusqu'à ce qu'elles atteignent les médias électroniques actuels. Cela a réduit le temps de publication.
Aujourd'hui, les médias disposent de moyens de propagation sophistiqués. Cela leur a permis de disposer d'une plus grande variété de ressources audiovisuelles pour accompagner les textes. Les fichiers vidéo, audio et photo haute définition, entre autres ressources, sont courants dans la publication de rapports.
D'autre part, le travail de reportage de l'actualité était également sujet à évolution. L'expression maximale de ce processus s'est produite au cours du XIXe siècle, lorsqu'une forte spécialisation thématique a été mise en évidence. À cette époque, les journalistes - connus sous le nom de correspondants de guerre - avaient un rôle de premier plan dans l'actualité de la guerre européenne.

Limité aux actualités
Le genre journalistique du rapport est ciblé. Il s'agit de répondre aux questions qui, quoi, quand, où et pourquoi de l'actualité. Donc tout votre matériel (textes et ressources) essaie de répondre à ces questions. De cette façon, les nouvelles sont limitées et l'attention du consommateur de l'histoire est concentrée dans ses propres limites.
Actuel
Parce que les choses changent constamment, les nouvelles contenues dans les rapports sont d'actualité. Afin de localiser le lecteur, ou le consommateur des nouvelles, les médias étiquettent généralement les informations avec la date d'occurrence et la date du rapport. Plus les deux dates sont proches, plus le rapport sera à jour et utile.
Impartial
L'équité est une qualité qui consiste à donner à chacun ce qu'il mérite. D'autre part, l'équilibre est compris comme un état d'immobilité d'un corps résultant de l'équilibre de toutes les forces qui agissent sur lui. Dans le domaine du reportage journalistique, les deux qualités sont combinées, comprises comme l'impartialité.
La manière dont les faits sont présentés dans les rapports doit être dénuée de toute sorte d'interprétation subjective. Indépendamment de l'opinion du journaliste, les informations sont transmises de la manière exacte dont elles sont perçues. En ce sens, toutes les sources d'information sont consultées pour avoir tous les points de vue de l'histoire
Exact
Le rapport, en raison de son caractère d'histoire, respecte le principe de fiabilité. À cette fin, il utilise, entre autres ressources, des descriptions détaillées et une séquence chronologique. De cette façon, il garantit que l'histoire est aussi proche que possible de ce qui s'est passé, présentant des données exactes telles que les noms, les dates et autres.
Accrédité
Les sources qui produisent les informations sont suffisamment créditées dans le rapport. Les personnes, organisations ou agences d'État qui produisent les informations sont largement mentionnées dans les informations.
Bref
Le rapport doit être une histoire courte. Sans omettre aucun détail, les histoires doivent être rédigées de manière résumée. C'est juste dans les caractéristiques du lecteur de nouvelles. Dans la plupart des cas, ils ont un temps limité pour apprendre les informations.
Clair
La clarté est l'une des caractéristiques de reporting les plus difficiles à atteindre en matière de reporting. Partant de la brièveté de l'écriture, il informe avec le moins de mots possible. Ainsi, les mots utilisés sont courts et simples, évitant les données non pertinentes. De même, l'introduction et les titres sont concis et nets.
Par rapport au corps de l'écrit, il est composé du moins de paragraphes possible. Enfin, les textes doivent être exempts d'ambiguïtés. Par conséquent, tous les événements relatés sont précis et bien documentés.
Choquant
Le contenu du rapport est généralement choquant. Les événements qui le motivent provoquent un choc total ou partiel pour la communauté qui les lit, les regarde ou les écoute. En général, ces histoires génèrent des opinions pour et contre. Ainsi, le rapport peut provoquer la solidarité, le rejet ou, au moins, la controverse.
Types de rapport
Les rapports peuvent être classés selon divers critères. Parmi eux, on peut citer le contenu, le traitement de l'information et le format et leurs caractéristiques esthétiques et formelles, le support et le canal de diffusion sont également un critère de division.
Selon le contenu ou le thème
En tenant compte du contenu ou du thème, il existe des rapports judiciaires, des événements, des voyages, des rapports biographiques, autobiographiques, de société, des coutumes et des rapports humains ou historiques. Dans le cas spécifique des rapports scientifiques, ceux-ci vont des rapports médicaux, astronomiques, écologiques, aux rapports bioéthiques et économiques.

Les modalités de traitement des informations comprennent des rapports informatifs, interprétatifs et d'enquête. Les premiers se nourrissent des événements quotidiens. De leur côté, les interprètes offrent un avis personnalisé sur l'événement ou les protagonistes. Et les enquêteurs cherchent une plus grande profondeur sur le fait.

En prenant le format comme référence, les rapports peuvent être des rapports courts et volumineux, des rapports en série, des documentaires et des docudrames. En général, l'adoption d'un format particulier est régie par l'événement et le public.
Selon leur c
Sur la base des caractéristiques esthétiques et formelles, les rapports narratifs, explicatifs, descriptifs et de citation peuvent être distingués. Aussi, certaines modalités hybrides se retrouvent dans cette ligne, comme le reportage quotidien, le reportage-chronique et le reportage cinématographique.

Compte tenu du support et du canal de diffusion, on peut parler de reportages imprimés, télévisés, radiophoniques et cinématographiques ou vidéographiques. Cependant, il existe des théoriciens de la communication qui ne reconnaissent que deux types de rapports: le rapport informatif ou objectif et le rapport interprétatif.
Selon cette dernière classification, le rapport informatif ou objectif est celui qui développe l'actualité et comprend des déclarations et une description des environnements. Pendant ce temps, le rapport d'interprétation met l'accent sur l'analyse et l'explication de comment ou pourquoi les événements se sont produits.

La fonction informative est la raison d'être du journalisme. Par extension, il est également vital pour le reporting. Ainsi, l'une des fonctions de base du signalement est de fournir des informations aux citoyens. Cela peut les aider à prendre les meilleures décisions possibles concernant leur vie, leurs communautés, leurs sociétés et leurs gouvernements.
Des millions de personnes dépendent du travail quotidien des journalistes pour les tenir informés sur divers sujets. Le monde est en constante évolution et la capacité technologique de transmettre des informations est désormais presque simultanée.
Décris
La description précise de l'événement est au cœur de l'information. Sans une description détaillée des faits, l'information n'existe pas. Parfois, la situation oblige le journaliste à introduire une interprétation des faits qu'il décrit. Cela implique une certaine subjectivité qui met en péril l'intégrité du rapport.
En ce sens, certains théoriciens du journalisme affirment qu'un certain niveau de subjectivité est autorisé dans le reportage, en particulier celui qui découle de l'interprétation des faits. A titre d'exemple, ils citent des reporters de guerre qui, en plus de décrire la situation, la complètent par leur point de vue.
Ils s'assurent que cela enrichit la description et la rend plus facile à comprendre pour les lecteurs. Dans certains cas, même, le point de vue du rapporteur fournit plus de détails que la description de l'événement lui-même.
Raconter
L'histoire a pour origine une action. Ces événements impliquent des personnages et un environnement. La manière dont ils ont interagi pour générer les nouvelles façonne l'histoire qui doit être racontée. Cette narration est détaillée, complète et avec une séquence similaire à l'occurrence des événements.
La manière d'écrire l'histoire utilise les connecteurs appropriés pour garder l'événement séquentiel. Cette chaîne aide le lecteur à répondre à toutes vos questions.
Recherche
La fonction d'enquête du rapport représente le cadre sur lequel reposent le reste de ses fonctions. Compte tenu du fait que la grande majorité des événements rapportés proviennent de témoins, le rapport est complété par la consultation d'autres sources à des fins de corroboration.
Structure (pièces)
Entête
Le titre est le titre de l'histoire. Il est généralement composé de 10 mots ou moins. Ce titre a deux objectifs: présenter le sujet du rapport et capter l'intérêt des lecteurs, généralement par l'utilisation de termes controversés qui ont un impact.
Dans l'industrie des communications, le titre ou le titre est considéré comme la partie la plus importante de l'histoire. En fait, ils le voient également comme un «crochet» qui attire les lecteurs vers l'information.
Dans le domaine de la presse écrite (journaux, hebdomadaires, magazines), la manchette comporte souvent d'autres subdivisions. L'un d'eux est le titre, qui est court (pas plus de 4 mots) et est utilisé comme marque de regroupement thématique sur la page. Sous le titre, toutes les informations collectées en relation avec le même événement sont placées.
Après le titre, et faisant partie du titre, se trouve le prétexte dans lequel le lecteur est informé du contexte de l'information pour parvenir à une meilleure compréhension de l'actualité. Dans ces parties, on répond aux questions: où? et quand?
Après le pré-titre. vous pouvez trouver le sous-titre. Cette partie répond aux questions: comment? et pourquoi?. Ce sous-titre complète et qualifie le titre précédent pour le rendre plus compréhensible.
Lead ou intro
Le plomb est également appelé paragraphe d'entrée. Généralement, il est composé de 1 à 2 phrases de moins de 30 mots par lesquelles l'article commence. Le contenu de ce paragraphe répond aux questions qui?, Quoi?, Où?, Quand?, Pourquoi? et comme? des nouvelles. Les fils sont tombés en désuétude.
Selon les textes historiques, son origine se situe dans la guerre civile nord-américaine. À cette époque, les correspondants de guerre résumaient les nouvelles les plus importantes dans le premier paragraphe. Cela était dû à la pénurie de télégraphes pour transmettre des informations et aux interruptions constantes qui aboutissaient à des messages incomplets.
Corps de l'avis
Le corps des nouvelles est la plus grande partie du rapport. Il est organisé en courts paragraphes dans lesquels les questions décrites dans le document principal sont développées en détail. De plus, des citations de personnes clés impliquées ou liées à l'article sont incluses.
Ces paragraphes sont classés par ordre d'importance en commençant par le plus grand ou le plus petit. Ainsi, les paragraphes de fond contiennent des informations qui ne sont pas vitales et peuvent être ignorées. Cette façon d'organiser le texte facilite l'édition ultérieure de l'actualité. Au cas où il serait nécessaire d'éliminer des paragraphes, commencez par ceux de la dernière partie du rapport.
Exemple
Tout au long de l'histoire du journalisme, des rapports ont été générés qui ont eu un impact sur la communauté mondiale à la fois pour les faits et pour le style journalistique utilisé. Parmi eux, on peut souligner le cas connu sous le nom de scandale du Watergate, qui s'est terminé par la démission du président des États-Unis de l'époque, Richard Nixon, en août 1974.
Cette affaire a eu, en plus de l'impact de l'actualité, la performance impeccable de deux journalistes du Washington Post, Carl Bernstein et Bob Woodward. Ceux-ci, afin de garantir la fiabilité de leur rapport, se sont consacrés au suivi des faits et au développement d'un travail d'enquête.
En fin de compte, les deux activités ont abouti, en plus de la publication réussie du rapport, à l'obtention de preuves contre les responsables. Ces preuves, ainsi que d'autres recueillies lors des enquêtes menées par les instances judiciaires, ont été à l'origine d'une mise en accusation (demande de procédure judiciaire contre un haut fonctionnaire) en juillet 1974.
